History of philosophy: Calls of the 21st century: Motroshilova, Apresyan, Bazhov

The book is a reflection and generalization of the results of the Russian scientific conference “History of philosophy: challenges of the 21st century (invitation to dialogue)”, which was conducted on the initiative of the department of historical and philosophical studies of the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences on November 15-16, 2012 in Moscow. One of the tasks of the conference was the involvement of not only well-known historians of philosophy, Russian and foreign, but also representatives of other philosophical disciplines in the actual discussion on the naked problems of historical and philosophical knowledge, his attitude to other philosophical sciences, the contradictions, the difficulties, paradoxes of the development of the history of philosophy (especially the latest stages), to the “exploration” of the possible future historical and philosopher research. Particular attention is paid to the comprehension of the current state of history of philosophy in Russia. The book was conceived as the first step on the path of further discussion of the fate of the history of philosophy, as an invitation to dialogue both specialists, and a wider public interested in philosophy.
