The outstanding Christian poet, Natalia Danilovna Anufrieva (1905-1990) was born in St. Petersburg, spent children and youth in Crimea. In the early 1930s she moved to Moscow. In 1936, she was arrested by denunciation with Daniil Zhukovsky, the son of the Russian poetess-symbolist Adelaide Hermtsyk.
