History of Foreign Policy of Spain: Anikeeva, Vedyshkin, Volume

For the first time, the textbook in Russian systematically sets out the history of the foreign policy of Spain since the formation of a single state on the Pyrenee peninsula at the end of the 15th century. Until the beginning of the XXI century. The main events of the Spanish diplomatic history, the most important areas of the foreign policy of Spain are considered – European, Mediterranean and Atlantic; The dynamics of Madrid’s relationship with individual countries and regions. Portraits of the largest Spanish statesmen, foreign ministers and the most famous diplomats were outlined. The multilateral relationships of foreign and domestic policy against the background of the changing position of Spain in Europe and in the world are shown. For the first time in the historiography of Spanish foreign policy, the main problems of the history of Russian-Spanish relations are sequentially outlined.
