“Kandaki Maksuz” – so the special forces of the GRU called in Afghanistan, with whom the “Spirits” had special scores and which they were afraid of fire. At the height of the Afghan war, the author of this book served as a spin-world in the 173rd separate detachment of special forces in Kandahar-the main stronghold of “irreconcilable”. In his memoirs, he in detail, up to the smallest details, talks about the military work of the special forces:
About landing, raids and ambushes on caravan routes. About how the caravans were “scored” and “chopped” running dushmans from machine guns, machine guns and AGS. On the intricacies of subversive business and a merciless mine war in the “pink mountains of Kandahar”. About how to stop the enemy transport with a powerful mine -action mine and, having calculated the paths of the militants departure in advance, cover them with the next explosion. About those who fully paid for the “spirits” for the death of friends and now can rightly say: “I do not regret anything!”
