From the history of the bells of Russia. Selected works on domestic campanalogy: Anna Bondarenko

The book of the chosen works of the Doctor of Historical Sciences Anna Fedorovna Bondarenko includes articles, publications and speeches at scientific conferences for the period from 1994 to 2014. All works have been combined thematically and are devoted to the history of Russia’s bells from the time of their appearance in Rus’ shortly after the adoption of Christianity in 988 to date. Various aspects of this multifaceted theme (the origin of the bells in Rus’, the process of their distribution throughout the Russian state, the features of bell production, which existed in the Middle Ages in various centers, the use of bells in public life, the activities of masters of bell business, etc.) are grouped by the author to such headings as history, historiography, sources, bells, masters. At the end of the publication, a bibliography of the works of A.F. Bondarenko.
The book is intended for historians, art historians, stoneologists, as well as everyone who is interested in Russian history and is not indifferent to the rich heritage of the past.
