The main and most popular extensions of the OpenGL library are described, their use on Windows and Linux platforms. The implementation of a large number of effects created using these extensions is presented. The expansion mechanism and its use for access to the capabilities of accelerators using the language of high -level GLSL are shown. There are many examples of the implementation of various tasks that are solving using the OpenGL extensions.
