Experimental discourse analysis: Olga Fedorova

The monograph is a description of a new, still forming direction of linguistics – experimental analysis of discourse. The main goal of studies that formed the basis of this book was the development, experimental verification and theoretical substantiation of the methodology of this new direction. The triune goal defined the structure of the book: the first part contains four chapters, each of which is devoted to one of the fundamental aspects of the methodology; The second part consists of three chapters describing the author’s own empirical studies; Finally, the third part is considering the most relevant theoretical issue in the field of experimental discourse, namely, modeling the interaction of interlocutors in the dialogue process.
The monograph is addressed to a wide range of readers who are interested in the problems of experimental linguistics, discursive studies, corps study of oral speech, as well as cognitive psychology.
