The published text is a report by N.E. Osipova according to F.M. Dostoevsky, read on January 10, 1929 in Prague in the seminary and then published in the collection edited by A.L. Beham.
Interest N.E. Osipov was expressed in the personality and work of Dostoevsky not only in this most famous article. This topic again and again returned to Osipov’s research. The theme of this work is duality. This is what excited Osipov in his personal life, and what he considered in his metaphysical research. Osipov expressed a sense of twin as a special mental and cultural reality of Osipov in relation to his colleague and rival I.D. Ermakov (1875-1942), who became the leader of the psychoanalytic movement in Russia in the initial Soviet period.
