Curtain Dream Interpretation: Ibanyes Blasko

Vicente Blasko Ibanyes (1864-1928) – one of the largest Spanish prose writers of the late XIX – early XX century. In masterfully written works, the writer recreated paintings that give an idea of ​​the contradictions of the life of Spain of that time.
This volume publishes his famous novel “Curtain Dream Interpretation”, telling about the siege in 219 BC. e. The Carthaginian commander Hannibal of the Iberian city of Sagunt, which became the Roman colony. Hannibal decides at all costs to return Sagunt to the power of Carthage, even if you have to destroy the city. The heroic defense and the fall of Sagunt became an occasion by the beginning of the Second Punic War. In the center of the novel is the love story of a beauty dream book, who has gone from a port courtesan to a rich and respected owner of ships and slaves, and the Greek mercenary of the act.
