Crime scene – Moscow: Eduard Khrutskiy

The book of the talented Russian and Soviet writer Eduard Anatolyevich Khrutskiy (1933-2010) included two novels dedicated to the activities of the internal affairs and state security bodies at the end of the twentieth century. The first of them – “Autumn in Sokolniki” – tells about the disclosure by employees of the Moscow criminal investigation and the prosecutor’s office of the murder and theft of museum values ​​representing world fame. The second is the “place of crime – Moscow” – on the origin of organized crime in the USSR in the 1980s and about unsuccessful attempts by law enforcement agencies to block her path. In the first part of the second novel in 1990, the director Vsevolod Plotkin was shot the film “Last Autumn”, in the main roles: Viktor Proskurin, Valentin Smirnitsky, Vladimir Zeldin.
