The book contains projects of houses and apartments made by famous domestic architects. The principle uniting all work, one is following the stylistic systems of great European cultures – France, Italy, Spain, as well as Great Britain. The canons of historical styles that have developed in Europe the XIII-XX centuries- Baroque, Rococo, classicism, separate features of the Victorian era- are intertwined with later and less “canonical signs of the southern (Mediterranean) and northern (British) household realities. It is all the more interesting to consider projects implemented in Russia in the 21st century for our contemporaries. The book gives such a unique opportunity.
