Chryzalida: Varvara Malakhieva-Mirovich

Varvara Grigoryevna Malakhieva -Mirovich is the author of almost four thousand poems. Its first preserved verses date back to 1883, the latter are written a year before death. Friend of Lev Shestova and Elena Guro, Daniil Andreeva and Igor Ilyinsky, translator Bernard show and the “diversity of religious life” by William James, Malakhieva -Mirovich is the oldest author of unofficial literature, who remained faithful to the end of the days, but revealed the possibility of an ironically castle realistic writing inside the symbolist system.
The basis of the publication was a set of selected poems of the poet, who never appeared in the press, as well as the only book of poems “Monastorskoye” (1923) and a few lifetime publications published during his lifetime.
