The new (2010) novel by the famous Danish writer, the author of Smill and her feelings of snow, was written on behalf of a 14 -year -old boy, the son of a priest from the island of Fino – the most prosperous corner of Denmark.
But parents disappear. It is necessary to find them before the police find them. You don’t have to count on the help of adults, Peter’s allies in the investigation are a sister, brother and foxsterier, except for Count Ricarde – a hereditary aristocrat and a former drug addict, and now the owner of a psychiatric clinic. The search for parents is brought into an inter -religious terrorist organization planning to disrupt the first congress of all religions of the world.
Along the way, yet it’s too late, Peter needs to organize a happy childhood with your own hands. And solve the main, most difficult issue – how to live on at 14 years old.
