The deep changes that both Russia and the world have undergone over the past decades make you take a fresh look at what challenges and threats or the main systems of our country and the country itself are like a whole. The problem is fundamental: foresight and analysis of threats is one of the most important functions of the state and society at all levels. But the culture of foresight and the organization of the performance of this function are inertial, they do not have time for changes in the threat system. In Russian conditions, the situation is aggravated by a state of general crisis of domestic social science.
The course of lectures proposed to the reader presents the state of this problem and sets out the main challenges and threats, which Russia with a high probability will encounter in the medium term.
