In 1960, the chief bibliographer of the scientific and bibliographic department of the library of foreign literature I.M. Levidov published her next work “O. Genri: Bio -Bibliographic Index”, and, after years, in 1973, in the publishing house “Fiction” – the book “O. Genry and his novel”, which was affected by her special view of this “artist of poetic peace. a sensitive and mocking storyteller, the creator of his own, peculiarly romantic myth of a little American at the beginning of the 20th century. ” This book has long been a bibliographic rarity. It is reprinted to the double anniversary: ​​the 150th anniversary of O. Genry (1862-1910) and the 90th anniversary of the library of foreign literature.
