The book of the famous Soviet prose writer Fedor Aleksandrovich Abramov (1920-1983) includes the novels “Brothers and Sisters” and “Two Winter and Three Diles”, which, according to the author’s intention, are both independent works and parts of the Tetralogy “Brothers and Sisters”. The first novel, dedicated to the life of the Russian village during the Great Patriotic War, is based on the narrative of the Pekashinsky family of the Pereshili, the second is the story of the difficult fate of the post -war bakery – complex experiences and conflicting actions of a simple peasant set to manage people.
