In this edition, the text of the Synodal translation of 1876 was sparkled with the Jewish text of the Old Testament and the Greek text of the New Testament to eliminate the inaccuracies allowed in the preparation of previous publications of the canonical Russian Bible. The words added by translators “for clarity and the connection of speech.” In the text of the Old Testament in square brackets, words taken by the authors of the synodal translation from Septuagint (Greek Bible) are enclosed. In this publication, these inserts from the Greek Bible are preserved only where, from the point of view of modern textology, the Greek text can be closer to the original than the Jewish that has come to us. In the text of the New Testament, words taken from Slavic translation or late Greek manuscripts are enclosed in square brackets. The publication is accompanied by a dictionary.
The original gift edition, the integral binding of which is decorated with small beads and a leather insert. A book with a three -sided painted cut.
