The young Belgian writer Laurent de Grev decided on a bold step: to continue one of the most famous novels in the history of world literature – “Dangerous Relations” by Shorello de Lacco. In the novel “Bad Tone” the author provides the word to the Marquise de Mertey. The reader learns about what preceded the events of “dangerous ties” and the further fate of the Marquise. “Marquisa de Mertey is not a monster,” says the author. “She is a modern woman in an obsolete world.”
