Assyriology and Egyptology. Collection of articles

The next collection “Assyriology and Egyptology” proposed to the attention of readers consists of articles, which are a processing of a number of reports read at conferences in the ancient East, which are annually conducted by the Department of History of the ancient East Faculty of St. Petersburg State University. The articles placed in this collection are devoted to a variety of problems of studying languages, the history and culture of the ancient East, the study of ancient texts and monuments. The authors of publications are teachers and students of the department, employees of the Institute of Oriental Studies and State Hermitage.
