Aristotle’s criticism of Platonism: Alexey Losev

In “Criticism of Platonism by Aristotle” – a book published in 1929, the problems of philosophical arrhythmology are interpreted on the material of critical analysis of the XIII and XIV books “Metaphysics” of Aristotle. A.F, Losev contrasts the Platonic doctrine of the number of Aristotle’s attempts to deprive the number of ontological status. Despite the apparent archaic of the topics under discussion, this study by A.F. Loseva sheds light on important and urgent problems of the philosophy of the number and grounds of mathematics.
