The textbook “Architectural coloring” is intended for students studying in the areas “Architecture” and “Design of the architectural environment”. Architectural and design activity needs comprehensive use of color as a component that affects molding, perception of space, the creation of a holistic architectural environment. The publication reveals the possibilities of a coloristic form formation, the features of various methods, means and technologies of volumetric modeling on the material of works of modern classical culture.
The manual in an accessible form sets out a methodology for performing practical exercises that explain the mechanisms of form formation using polychromia, the possibility of creating a new plastic form based on painting of the late 19th – early 21st centuries.
