February 25, 1956 at the XX Congress of the CPSU N.S. Khrushchev read his “closed report”, which gave rise to many foreign responses. London “Telegraph” described the report as “the most influential speech of the twentieth century.” And in the article, published on the same day at New York Times, William Taubman, the 2004 Pulsurian laureate, awarded for Khrushchev’s biography, called his performance a “feat”, “worthy of being marked” in the calendar of events.
However, the author of this book managed to make a completely different discovery. Of all the statements of the “closed report”, directly “exposing” Stalin and Beria, there was not a single truthful one. The most influential speech of the twentieth century (if not all times!) Is the fruit of fraud? In itself, such a thought seems simply monstrous. After all, the point is not only in itself, but also in the obvious consequences …
