The phenomenon of recent years has become a sharp increase in mass protest performances in different countries of the world. The series of “Orange Revolutions” replaced the “Revolution 2.0”, the distinguishing feature of which is the key role of the Internet and social networks. “Arab Spring”, “Occupy Wall Street”, “Swamp Square”, London pogroms, Turkey, Brazil, Ukraine … – Everywhere we see young people and middle class on the streets, which requires change. One of the points of view on these events is the growth of self -awareness and the desire of young and active to participate in the choice of the path of development of their countries and the “democratic protest” against tyranny and corrupt elites. With a careful analysis of the political, social and cultural background of these events, we nevertheless see a different picture.
The authors of this book are the most famous analysts of the Izborsky Club, prove that these events do not occur “on their own”, they occur with the active participation of an external subject.
