Andrei Petrovich Ryabushkin (1861-1904) – a bright Russian historical painter, original without any pretentiousness and national without rude and unpleasant chauvinism. Friends and descendants of A.P. Ryabushkin managed to leave the world that he found in his soul among the memories of the Russian past. The old man became a living evidence of the original artistic giftedness of the people, connecting modernity with history, and under his brush the household genre has lost its householdism.
It is in the work of A.P. Ryabushkina reflected one of the most important faces of a multi -sized phenomenon called the Russian national spirit.
