The textbook contains an introductory course in clinical anatomy of the head and neck. The studied material is set out according to the chapters and plan of systematic anatomy from the standpoint of functional, typical, individual and age -related features of the structure and topography. The emphasis has been placed on the clinical significance of the acquired knowledge and the possibility of their application in the work of a dentist.
All the names of anatomical structures correspond to international anatomical terminology (mat – 1998, 2003) and the official list of Russian equivalents; In some cases, the names from previous nomenclatures are also given, since they are widely used in dental literature and practice. The text of the manual is illustrated by a large number of classic and original drawings and photographs.
