The book tells about one of the most revered saints in Rus’ – Alexander Nevsky, the glorified commander and the sage of the ruler, whose life, filled with spiritual and military exploits, had a decisive influence on the development of the Russian state. At the most difficult time for the Fatherland, he managed to prove to the Western world that, despite the severity of the Tatar yoke, Rus’ was able to protect his independence and the Orthodox faith.
The publication consists of two parts. The first is the view of the life of the Alexander Nevsky Church historian, spiritual writer Andrei Muravyov. The second part is addressed to readers who begin to study life literature.
