Adventures of Gumilyov, Warrant Officer and Poet: Valery Shubinsky

The book is dedicated to the fate of the poet Nikolai Gumilyov, primarily his participation in the First World War, the centenary of which we celebrate in 2014. However, we are talking about other pages of his biography – about African travels, about Tagantsev’s conspiracy, in which Gumilyov’s participation costs, and of course, about the creative work of the poet, which was his main thing. The novel “The Adventures of Gumilyov …” – free artistic reconstruction on a strictly documentary basis. Next to Gumilyov, a soldier, traveler, conspirator – on the pages of the book there are images of his friends and contemporaries, famous and half -forgotten. There are fictional characters among the heroes. We are talking about the most diverse, including little -known episodes of the history of the First World War and the Russian culture of the Silver Age.
