Valery Shituev is a member of the Union of Writers of Russia and the Union of Journalists of Russia. Laureate of the Literary Prizes “Golden Feather of Muscovy”, them. Ya. V. Smelyakova, awarded medals: “Golden Yesenin” and Gold “for thoughts and acts” named after S. Yu. Witte, “For Merits” of the Union of Journalists of Russia.
His poems are all very different – both in sound, and in mood, and in temperament, but they are piercing sincere, in them and compassion and faith in the spiritual forces of the Russian people and the boundless love of the homeland. Such poems are clinging to the living and will never be able to leave indifferent.
