The author of the monograph on the basis of deep art history analysis proposes a new reading of a number of famous monuments of European fine art: such as the famous “Jaconde” by Leonardo da Vinci, “spinners” of Velazquez, “love scene” of J. Romano and others. The work of Leonardo receives a new understanding, the artist appears as a deep theologian, well familiar with the practice of East European Isihasm.
