He left an unusually diverse literary inheritance: domestic and moralizing novels, criminal and adventure novels … Tsekhanovich collaborated with many editions of newspapers and magazines of St. Petersburg, but published mainly in the periodical, the writer did not wait for the appearance of his works as books. Only posthumously, through the efforts of the publishers, his prose was collected and released.
