In this calendar, along with descriptions of church holidays and tips on how to hold posts, the lives of saints are placed for every day.
When using the calendar, you need to know that the holidays are twelve in it with large half -fat font of red color (the meaning, the meaning of the celebrated event is also explained here). All Sundays are also marked in red. The days of memory of the great saints (with all -night vigil) are given by small half -fat font of red color. The rest of the memory of the great or particularly revered saints are highlighted with black half -fat font (if the memory of the great holy falls on Sunday, then in red).
Arabic numbers after the name of the saint mean the year of the death of the saint or gaining his relics. Roman figures indicate the century in which the saint lived. The numbers after the name of the icon of the Mother of God denote the year or century of glorification of this icon.
