120 days of sodoma: Marquis de Sad

Two novels, two sides of the work of the famous preacher of hedonism and libertine. The philosophy of destruction, the exaltation of the vice, all types of rape and punishment – in the “120 days of sodom” written in the Bastille, the manuscript was hidden de Garden in the wall of the chamber and accidentally discovered only in 1900. “Marquisa de Gange” is a historical novel about the terrible murder of the marquise by the brothers of her husband, an essay glorifying virtue and religion.
Based on the book of de Sad, the drama of Pazolini “Salo, or 120 days of Sodom” was shot – about the last days of Italian fascism.
