The life feat of Elena Vasilievna (St. Elena Diveevskaya) and Mikhail Vasilievich Manturov were largely similar: both of them showed complete self -denial in obedience to Father Seraphim. What the elder had on them could withstand only the elect. Mikhail Manturov, the elder determined the voluntary poverty, and he accepted it unquestioningly. Rev. Elena Father Seraphim asked to voluntarily die instead of his brother at the age of 27, and she answered without hesitation: “Bless you, father.” Father Seraphim did not address such instructions anymore, feeling a special spiritual nature in Manturovs. The lives of Elena Vasilievna and Mikhail Vasilievich Manturovs became an indestructible “foundation”, laid down in the foundation of the Diveevo monastery by the elder Seraphim.
