Psalter Rev. Ephraim Sirin

This psalter was composed by St. Theophan the Recluse on the basis of the prayer works of the Monk Ephraim Sirin, who, with their repentant content, especially impressively affect the soul of a Christian. Saint Theophanes chose 150 prayer articles from the creation of St. Ephraim, structured them and gave each article the psalm original names, headlines in the likeness of the psalmies of Tsar David.
