A methodology for testing the resistance of pipe steels and cast iron in soils in the general and local types of corrosion destruction in laboratory and field conditions, including corrosion-mechanical destruction, has been developed. It was established that in the normative (GOST 9-602-89) the defense potential range can be released electrolytic hydrogen with a large exit along the current of cathode protection.
The fundamental possibility of the necessary conditions for the adequate GOST 9-602-89 protection of underground pipelines (indicating the maximum permissible area of damage to the insulating coating of the pipeline and correction of the “upper” range of protective potentials) in small defects in small defects in small defects in small defects were proved.
The kinetic currents of hydrogen secretions were studied and the analysis of salt and oxidal passivity in neutral media.
New, non -traditional methods for measuring the parameters of corrosion processes are justified. An analysis of the reliability of indirect measurements of polarization potentials by the switching method …
