Walter Johannes Stein (1891-1957) – Austrian philosopher, teacher of the Waldorf school, researcher of the Grail, one of the pioneers of anthroposophia, personal student of Rudolf Steiner. He graduated from Vienna University. He defended his diploma in natural sciences, and then a doctoral dissertation on the theory of knowledge in the spiritual world. In 1933 he moved to England. During the war, he was a consultant to English on occult issues related to Hitler and Nazism.
Walter Stein conducted intensive lecture activity (up to 300 lectures per year) on anthroposophy and related issues. The author of a large number of articles and books. Since 1945 he worked mainly as a homeopath.
