In the book in a new way, a number of classical approaches to the study of political stratification are meaningful and an analysis of the transformations of the political structure of Russia was carried out at the beginning of the XXI century. Studying such traditional and considered almost mutually exclusive paradigms as Marxism and the class approach, elism, the theory of interest groups, the author shows how in modern science their individual elements are fired. This view seems relevant for modern Russia, where the methodological and actual difficulties of describing social and political structures still exist and are not fully defined by the role of those social communities that should be the locomotives of the development of the state.
The book is intended for sociologists and political scientists specializing in the study of various aspects of political rule, the process of making political decisions, and will be interesting to teachers, graduate students, and students of sociological and political science specialties.
