Georgy Vernadsky (1887-1973) – professor, one of the creators of the teachings of Eurasianism, a Russian historian who spent most of his life in exile. His book “The Subject of Russian History” was first published in 1927 and became, in essence, the foundation on which all subsequent Eurasians, from Vernadsky himself to Lev Gumilyov, built their theories. The book covers the huge period of the history of Eurasia from the Huns to the Bolsheviks, but is dedicated, for the most part, the history of the Russian people, which, according to the author, “is the gradual development by the Russian people of their location – Eurasia.”
