This poetic anthology contains works of the most famous Russian poets, starting from the middle of the 18th century and ending with the middle of the 20th,-more than twenty great names from Vasily Trediakovsky and Alexander Pushkin to representatives of the Soviet school, Edward Bagritsky and Konstantin Simonov. Their works, united by one topic – love and pain for the fate of Russia – are very different: praise and satirical, lyrical and complete drama, severe and tender, full of longing for the homeland, faith in its greatness and beautiful future, and despair, and doubts … And these are very personal and sincere lines – after all, every Russian poet feels an inextricable connection with its father -in -law, whose poetic image forever captured in his heart.
