Morphological differences and features of the biology and ecology of commercial and other interesting types of aquatic animals that inhabit rivers, lakes, shelf and adjacent waters within the economic zone of Kamchatka are briefly described. The areas of the spread of species and their fishing are indicated, the requirements of environmental safety are analyzed during its implementation.
It is addressed to a wide range of readers, it can be useful to schoolchildren and students of secondary special and higher educational institutions, studying the course “Contemporary ichthyology and the raw material base”.
