The French writer-Office, the founder of the Catholic Order of Rosa-i-Crrest Joseph (EN) Peladan (1858-1918) appeared in public in the tunic of the Venetian Dow, called himself Sar (wizard) and invariably turned out to be the central character of his own “literary fantasies.”
Peladan is well known to researchers of European esotericism, readers are almost unfamiliar. The novel “Curious” is the second book of his 21-volume erotic-idealistic epic “Sunset of the Latin World”. The philosopher and wizard Nests writes a pencil portrait of the Russian Princess Paul – “Matter for perfect passion” – and invites the girl to walk in vicious Paris, designed to “fill her soul with countless perversions” and “sink in the disappointment of bursts of curiosity.”
