The book considers the optimal use of ultrasound in combination with other methods of radiation diagnostics to identify colon neoplasms. Particular emphasis is on the diagnosis of early stages of colorectal cancer.
The methodological, semiotic, methodological and technical aspects of the ultrasound intestine examination, allowing to evaluate the condition of the soft tissues during their layered visualization, determine the degree of invasion of the tumor into fiber and surrounding organs, the presence of metastases in regional and remote lymph nodes, as well as in internal organs. Separate chapters are devoted to the diagnosis of complicated forms and metastases of the colon cancer.
