Joseph S. Nai -Master is one of the most influential US political scientists – from 1977 to 1979 he worked as an assistant deputy state secretary for security, science and technology, chairman of the National Security Council for non -proliferation of nuclear weapons. In 1993-1994 – Chairman of the National Intelligence Council, and in 1994 and 1995 – Deputy Minister of Defense on International Security. In all three departments, the political scientist was presented to various honorary awards. In 1989-1993, he was also a representative of the United States in the advisory council for disarmament at the UN General Secretary.
