Introduction to the theory of communication. Workshop

This manual is an application to the theoretical course “Introduction to the theory of communication”, which the author reads at the philological faculty of the State Institute of the Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkin. It is addressed to students of this faculty and is designed to work in seminars. Its content is determined by the goals and objectives of the course prescribed in the discipline program.
Practical material in the manual is divided into 6 thematic blocks (“communication. Communication”; “Communicative situation”; “main units of communication”; “regulation of communication”; “forms of speech”; “speech behavior. Speech etiquette”), which include both issues on theory and practical tasks on topics.
The manual can be in demand not only in the philological audience, but also at the faculties of other specialties, which read the courses of “introduction to the theory of communication” and “Fundamentals of the theory of communication”.
