Mirror of our Fatherland: Ilya Simanchuk

Our journalism, whose “founding father” is Peter the Great, on January 13, 2003, turned 300 years old. The initiator of this holiday was the author of the proposed publication – Ilya Simanchuk. From the current work- the “Mirror of our Fatherland”, which in a shortened version was published in the journal “Journalist” in 2001-2002- the reader learns about the most acute problems of the old life of Russia, about their reflection, as if in the mirror, in the then newspapers and magazines.
