This is the fourth book of Maxim Osipov at Corpus, it includes eight works. All of them are written in the genre of “long short stories” (small novels, big stories) on the material of Russian reality observed from different sides: from the province, from the capital or from the outside, from America. The heroes of Osipov are our contemporaries, but they are busy with timeless questions, the final answers to which, as a rule, are not found. And, perhaps, it is precisely such an author’s position that allows you to cover reality much brighter than any finished, balanced worldview.
Maxim Osipov is a laureate and the finalist of many literary awards awarded for small prose, his works are transferred to French, English, and plays are in several theaters of the country.
