The book is based on the treatise “Lun -yu” – one of the most famous texts of ancient China. It was written by the disciples of Confucius and consists of the statements of Confucius himself, as well as from dialogues with his participation. This treatise is considered the main book of Confucianism. The book also presents the biographies of Confucius, comments on the Treatise “Lun-yu” of two famous Russian orientalists V.P. Vasiliev and P. S. Popov, the chronology of the life and activity of Confucius and Bibliography.
